Couples
Work through recurring friction, process a difficult week together, or have a check-in conversation that doesn't spiral. The turn-based structure keeps things from escalating.
TOGETHER MODE
Together Mode lets two people have a structured, AI-guided conversation — with turn-based dialogue, shared summaries, and optional insights when both participants want them. Built for the conversations that matter most.
Step 1
One person begins with their own private conversation — choosing how they feel and working through their perspective with TeddyBuddy.
Step 2
When ready, convert the completed solo session into a Together Mode conversation. TeddyBuddy generates a shared summary that both participants can see.
Step 3
Share a private invite link with the other person. They request to join, and you approve — giving you full control over who enters the conversation.
Step 4
Messages alternate in turns, so neither person gets talked over. Each participant has their own private space alongside the shared conversation.
Step 5
Either participant can request AI insights mid-conversation. Both must consent before Teddy weighs in — keeping the process mutual and respectful.
Step 6
When the session ends, each person saves their own private journal copy with a personal takeaway. Your reflections stay yours.
Any two people who need a better structure for a conversation that matters.

Sometimes a hard conversation with a friend needs more structure than a phone call provides. Together Mode gives both people space to speak fully and be heard.
Navigate sensitive topics — family dynamics, old patterns, unspoken tension — with a format that keeps the conversation grounded and forward-moving.
When two people need to talk about something that matters, having a neutral structure reduces the chance of derailment and increases the chance of understanding.
Together Mode is built on the same privacy-first foundation as solo TeddyBuddy sessions. Your solo conversation is never shared — only a TeddyBuddy-generated summary enters the shared space. Each participant's raw messages, personal reflections, and journal entries remain entirely private. Neither person can read what the other wrote in their private space.
No. Your solo conversation stays private. Only the shared summary — which TeddyBuddy generates from your session — is visible to both participants. Your raw messages and personal reflections are never shared.
TeddyBuddy doesn't intervene unless both participants explicitly request it through the Ask Teddy feature. The structure itself — turn-based dialogue, shared summaries — does most of the work.

Yes. Together Mode is built with the same privacy-first principles as the rest of TeddyBuddy. Conversations are stored securely, and neither participant can access the other's private reflections or personal takeaways.
No. Together Mode is a structured conversation tool, not therapy. It's designed for people who want to communicate better, not for clinical treatment of relationship issues. For serious concerns, please see a licensed therapist.
